Detailed Product Description+
Jit Aree MCT oil is fractionated from refined Thai coconut oil to isolate the medium-chain triglycerides — primarily caprylic acid (C8) and capric acid (C10). The result is a clear, odourless, neutral-tasting oil that stays liquid at room temperature and resists oxidation, making it ideal for dietary supplements, sports nutrition, ketogenic and infant nutrition, pharmaceutical carriers, and premium cosmetics. We supply standard 60/40 C8/C10 blends as well as high-purity C8 (caprylic) grades, all produced under ISO 9001 and HACCP certified conditions and available in bulk, drums, and private-label retail formats. As a coconut-derived product it is fully traceable and available in Halal-certified and (on request) organic variants.

Coconut oil is the whole oil and contains a mix of fatty acids — around 48%+ lauric acid (C12) plus shorter-chain C8 and C10 — and is semi-solid below ~24°C. MCT oil is fractionated from coconut oil to keep only the medium-chain triglycerides (mainly C8 and C10) and remove the lauric acid, producing a clear oil that stays liquid, is rapidly absorbed, and is favoured for supplements and ketogenic nutrition. In short: all MCT oil comes from coconut oil, but MCT oil is a concentrated, purified fraction rather than the whole oil.
C8 (caprylic acid) is the fastest-converting MCT to ketones and commands a premium, making it popular for high-performance keto and nootropic products. C10 (capric acid) is more abundant and cost-effective. A C8/C10 blend (commonly 60/40 or 70/30) balances performance and price and is the most widely traded MCT grade. Buyers choose based on target market positioning and budget.
MCT can be fractionated from either coconut or palm kernel oil. Our MCT oil is coconut-derived, which many supplement and clean-label brands prefer for traceability and consumer perception. Palm kernel-derived MCT is chemically comparable and often lower cost. We can advise on the right source for your market and certification requirements.
